New Shoes, Vintage Clocks, Movies & a Life Tip | BERRYWEEKLY

Hello!

"having dreams of owning something close to Khloe Kardashians heavenly shoe collection"

They say summer passes by in a flash, and they couldn't be more right! I don't know if it's because of the idea that we have 'all the time in the world' to do whatever we want to do, or if it's because we choose to spend our days doing practically nothing but somehow, the clock is running on super speed. To cherish every moment, we tend to resort to our handy dandy camera phones to capture memories - and that's exactly what BerryWeekly is all about. So here are the memories of the week!

The Cutest Wellies Ever: POTW

Hello!

"they lack the cheesy quality that wellies often have"

With the rain pouring down, it's not fun wearing suede shoes (reference to this post, these shoes are ruined now :( ). So to keep it appropriate for the weather, it was time to go out and buy new shoes. A reason to shop? Yes, please!

" Perfect for this time of year, a colour that will go with everything and at £10, you can't go wrong! "

Already being a fan of wellies meant these were something I'd buy - but the ultimate reason why I went for them is because they lack the cheesy quality that wellies often have. At the same time, the bow adds a girly touch without making the shoe look tacky. Another positive about them, is that the short, ankle-bootie height means these are so easy to put on and take off - who really wants to spend 10 minutes putting shoes on?!

"keep it appropriate for the weather"

Overall, a great find from none other than Primark. I swear, I rarely go there but when I do, there is always something that catches my eye! Perfect for this time of year, a colour that will go with everything and at £10, you can't go wrong!

Are you a fan of wellies?

POTW: Peep Toe Bow Flats - (they're a bargain)

Hello!

"the cutest types of shoe"

Peep toes are the cutest types of shoe! I love the way you can show the world your toenail colour yet be totally comfy at the same time! Its super fun and pretty

I love the bow detail on these particular ones too  - it adds a touch of girly-ness!

"black is perfect as it goes with everything"

The colour black is perfect as it goes with everything!! Although it was hard to picture the material, it is suede - hence they look kind of fuzzy on camera! They feel lovely - can you tell I am in love with them?

 "the amazing price tag"

The best part about them is the amazing price tag! If you have ever been to Primark, you'd know about their incredibly cheap shoes... these were £5!! How amazing! Maybe it's time we all go to Primark more often?!

Are you a fan of peep-toe shoes?

SS14 Wearable Fashion Trends - From the Catwalk to your Wardrobe.

Hello!

The sun is ACTUALLY popping out from behind the clouds, and you know what that means? The SS14 Trends can go into action. Well, if you have been looking at the trends seen on the catwalk, not many are actually wearable for day-to-day, think Kendall Jenner and her nip-through top - not gonna happen.

Well, we still want to be wearing the trends seen on the runways and girls, when there's a will there's a way!

1. The trend that pops by every year!

I love pastels, from nails to jumpers to handbags! I love the mix and match of pastel colours too, in this case the mint jumper with the pastel pink pants. To not bring the look to overload, I toned down the outfit with nude pumps - but to bring up the bling, the coral (pastel) and gold necklace felt like the perfect touch. This outfit is getting me excited for the summer!!

2. THE colour of the Season
Links to Items: 1, 2, 3, 4
Yellow. The colour of sunshine, the colour of happiness. This bright colour is such a lovely one to put on during the warmer months. Being spotted as one of the hottest colours from OPI's new Summer Collection, this one is going to be huge. The black/yellow floral dress has a gorgeous neckline. I feel yellow works really well with gold jewellery and as this dress is almost sleeveless, I felt the arms would feel bare without a bracelet. The shoes kept simply but effective the black heels and obviously another HUGE pop of colour with the bag - which I love!

3. Keep it Pure
Links to Items: 1, 2, 3, 4
White on White worked for winter and is set for the summer months too. I love the slight gold accent in this outfit on the belt. It would work well with the shorts, blazer and pure white top! The white shoes would make the outfit look like an overall dream.

4. TWO trends in One
Links to Items: 1, 2, 3, 4
The Wide-Leg Pants trends is a total new one. One which I am reluctant to try. However, it would work well with the geometric print top. Being it a navy colour with white detailing, I feel it works well with the white pants. To add a little more dimension to the outfit, the boxed black shoulder/hand bag seems like a perfect fit. To not draw attention away from the pants and geometric pattern, I paired the outfit with black flats.

I hope you enjoyed the 'from the catwalk to your wardrobe' edition of the Spring/Summer Fashions Trends and let me know what you think of the layout!

What's your favourite summer trend?

Clothing Haul: Shopping the sales!

Hello!

Deals. Sales. Offers.
That's all that is seen on shop windows right now! Being a shop-a-holic, one cannot entirely resist these amazing opportunities, so why not make the best of it?

Yes, I cracked and went shopping and bought a little more than I needed to… especially right now anyway, after exchanging and receiving gifts… yet, there's no such thing as too much shopping, right?! ...Right?!

Basically, I walked into the store and found that most things were 50% OFF! Half price is amazing for a deal! So I picked up a few pieces that caught my eye...

I bought this denim jacket as a) I don't have one, and b) it was half off!
I feel like a denim jacket is a staple for the spring and summer months and is on trend practically every year, so obviously it was a must have!

Next I picked up two of these knit tops which are quite baggy and perfect for this time of year. If you're like me, then you know how easy they are to throw on and look somewhat cute… and be comfortable! I got one in this greyish, brown colour and another in navy blue!

Next I got this top, which the picture does NOT do it justice! It is honestly so gorgeous is real life! It is red and the sequins and beads on it look stunning! It is more of a dressy top, yet it won't be over the top (no pun intended). It's like a subtle dressy, if you know what I mean!

Also, I bought this sheer khaki coloured top with gold sequins in the front. Again, I feel the picture makes the top look weird and it's hard to take a snap of it! I felt this was perfect for party-wear. Moreover, this is a total trend right now too - I love sequins because they show how girly I really am! (I even have sequin fluffy socks that I wear at home… but shh…!)

I then spotted these shoes! I love bows and heels, put them together and I cannot resist! I have way too many shoes with bows on them!

As for accessories, I bought a navy blue, thick knit scarf which can keep you warm and look cute too! The scarf has tiny bits of glitter woven throughout, which you can kind of see in the second picture with the bracelet on top of it! The Bracelet is made of 'Sparkling Glass' and is very simple yet adds a little extra to any outfit. Being the colour it is, it would also match many outfits!

So, yes, that was my haul… which is an awful lot of shopping for something uncalled and unplanned for, oh well, you live and you… buy? Oh, who am I kidding?! haha!

What has been your best bargain

Weekly Roundup #9

Hello!

Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week and can now relax - either watching chick flicks with the girls, chilling at home or a night out…
It feels like forever and a day since a Weekly Roundup has been writing… what does that mean? It's time for another Weekly Roundup!

Favourite Shoes:
I tweeted a picture of these slippers when I put them out, right out of the box! I came downstairs on a cold, winter morning and my kitchen floor was freezing, like it might have snowed in my kitchen… so, I used this perfect timing to get out my PINK slippers!! I love these… and I swear other people in my house have been sneaking them on because they're never in the place I last left them!

Favourite Picture:
I took this picture and I can't say that I don't like that the sun comes up later during the day and goes down earlier in the night… so, maybe I am a vampire?

Favourite Food Find:
I went to a Turkish Restaurant the other day for a friends birthday. It was my first time in a turkish restaurant and the first thing I saw was a HUGE meat kebab thing… you know what I mean, right? Like the thing that looks like a HUGE chicken leg that has many tiny nibbles eaten from it… anyway, so my first worry was: I'm a vegetarian, what do I eat?! So, as anyone, I went for a Lentil Soup as the bread they served as 'starters' was amazing, naturally I wanted an excuse to eat more!!

Oh, and I can't believe this is my NINTH Weekly Roundup! It seems like the other day I did my first!
Anyway:

What's been your favourite of the week?

Fall Fashion 2013 (Back to School)

Hello!

It's mid August, you know what that means: Fall Trends is the next thing on our minds! So, I did some research and gathered some of the major trends for the up coming months!

Fall is my favourite season for multiple reasons, a) it's my Birthday Month! b) the weather is getting colder and c) the fashion is ALWAYS best in Fall - Always.
Fall is also when the leaves turn golden and the air is crisper yet the sun still shines... well I guess it always shines, but you know what I mean!

1, 2, 3
Searching for the 2013 fall trends I found something: it's practically the same trends as the year before. During the fall months there are the typical trends including plaid/flannel shirts, leather jackets and fur-trimmed coats. Well, this season includes those as well as some further specific trends.
There is the trend of Khaki once again, this time focusing more on the camouflage print, think leggings, Keds and backpacks in that print, that would be great for back-to-school. You could easily add a leather jacket to be even more trendy!
More with leather, circle skirts are really in for summer at the moment and leather circle skirts paired with tights will be trendy during fall, too! A nice transition piece, that is!
Also, oversize, boyfriend-style flannel shirts are a huge trend, wear them unbuttoned with a pair of jeans and a top and bam: you're suited for fall.

A newer style this year is the vintage-inspired which includes peter-pan collars (which I am in LOVE with but wish I could pull off better) and vintage prints, as seen worn by the gorgeous, Lily Collins in the picture above (source).

As for shoes, thick heels are hugely in - this is great for me as I have a pair of boots with a thick heel that I absolutely adore and cannot wait to get my footsies into! I think ankle boots with a thick heel are so cute and go with skirts and pants alike! These are some of my favourites I found online:

1, 2, 3, 4

As well as the biker trend, there is the military trend - as always, but these are the trends that scream 'Fall is Here'.
As well as that, the winter whites are brought into fall this year. Wearing completely white attire is on trend and wear this or shades of blues and you won't be stopped by the fashion police! ;)

Okay, so that's my fall roundup, hopefully you get ideas for back to school. I may do whole outfits for fall closer to the time, kind of like what I did for the Fourth of July outfit ideas

Let me know what your favourite trend is for this fall!

Keep blooming, berries!
