In The Cinema This Summer | MOVIES

Hello!

source, source, source
"reminds me a little of a female version of 22 Jumpstreet!"
It's prior to the summer when we're saying things like 'Yes, I will win the Nobel Prize this summer, I'll climb Mount Everest and I'll meet the President of the United States... all in one day'. Okay, basically, we have a million and one things we want to do, but when we get to it, we're like.. 'Right, what do I do now?'. Movies are generally resorted to, because let's face it, a trip to the cinema is much more likely to happen than climbing Mt. Everest! So, without further ado, here are a few ideas as to what to watch this summer.

The Age of Adaline

Blake Lively is back! I didn't think much of the movie, but after seeing a few posters around the tubes and on the side of London buses, I thought I'd give it another look. It looks like a nice concept, although in all honesty, it wouldn't be number 1 in the 'things I want to watch' list. But that's just me, maybe it'll tickle your fancy?

Pitch Perfect 2

I remember watching the first one, on a snowy day when everything in London got cancelled due to bad weather! It was lovely, and better than I had expected. That being said, I'm looking forward to this one. After watching the trailer, it reminds me a little of a female version of 22 Jumpstreet! What do you think?

Mr Holmes

So the BBC absolutely nailed the Sherlock series. Honestly, anyone that has ever seen an episode of Sherlock is always raving about it, so if you haven't yet - DO. I remember watching the Sherlock Holmes movie, before the whole BBC show, in the cinema and it was not to my liking. Okay, basically it was bore-ring! This, however, it's a different concept. Sherlock years older seeing people gasp at the sight of 221B Baker Street yet them not recognising the man himself steps behind them. His last case? Well, it better be a good one, and I do hope the movie is not a let down - especially after the brilliant Cumberbatch played the role so greatly.

Do you have your eye on any movie in particular? Do let us know! :)

Little Venice, London | TRAVEL

Hello!

"beautiful little area in London that doesn't enough credit."

If you follow me on Instagram, you'd know of the 'mystery' blog post that has 24 pictures. "24 Pictures in ONE blog post?" I hear you say. Yes, you read that right, and this is it!

A new segment that might be somewhat of a thing on here in the future (who knows, hey?) is being introduced today. I don't know what you think of the whole Travel blog thing, and I don't actually follow any travel blogs, but it seems an interesting idea! So, I present you... Little Venice, London.

A little event was being held inside the boat - how cool?! It is also called 'The Floating Classroom', it's a pretty nice view for a student, isn't it?

These were actually the public toilets - the building looks so pretty and the potted plants on the top are just adorable!

The boats are so quirky!

I don't know why but this picture makes me think of minions...

Think they're real people? Think again.
(At first glance I thought they were real... *embarrassed emoji*)

They were such beautiful, white buildings - I couldn't get over how gorgeous it all was!

The building to the right is where our Afternoon Tea was, it's the Colonnade Hotel. See that post here.

Finally, on the way back home we spotted this little shadow figure in the underground station. It's Sherlock Homes... guess the station!

Little Venice is a beautiful little area in London that doesn't enough credit. So, if you are in London, and the weather is nice, then definitely pop by the canal in Little Venice (we went to Warwick Avenue Station and made our way).

So tell me, are there any places you've been to that doesn't get enough credit? Also, what do you think of the travel series?

The Netflix Tag

Hello!

The Netflix Tag has been floating around and if you know me, you know I love a bit of good ol' Telly!
So, seeing the Netflix Tag, how could I not. hey? How. Could. I. Not.?
Right, so lets dive in!

1. What are your favourite series' to watch on Netflix ?
Sherlock is an incredible series. It's full with intelligent details, and I can't believe I started the series as late as I did! If you haven't watched Sherlock, you're missing out! Run to your Netflix account and watch all 6 episodes currently on there! You can thank me later! ;)

2. What are you currently watching on Netflix ?
At the moment, I'm up to date with Pretty Little Liars. Actually, on Monday we had a little chat on here on all things PLL. Here's the link, incase you missed it!

3. If you could have any series, old or new put on Netflix, what would it be ?
Suits. Although it is currently on there, I would love up-to-date episodes on Netflix, like they've recently done to PLL. I love Suits, definitely my favourite show (it's up there with Sherlock!).

4. What is your one peeve about Netflix ?
Just the fact that Suits episodes are not up to date. Also, the third series of Sherlock is not on there either. I did catch the first two episodes of the third series on BBC iPlayer, but by the time I got around to the final one, it was no longer available! I was gutted.

5. What are your essentials for a perfect night in with Netflix ?
A cosy blanket, my go-to furry pink roses blanket is my favourite. I was catching up with the latest PLL episode on Netflix today and the blanket was in the wash - definitely not the same experience. Good, nonetheless!

6. Recommend one series or film for someone else.
I have yet to watch a film on Netflix, there aren't any that catch my eye but in terms of series, Sherlock! (These questions are all interlinking, aren't they?)

7. Name a series on Netflix you keep meaning to watch but haven't yet.
Hmm... none off the top of my head. I think I keep up with the ones I am a die-hard fan of, and happy with my selected few. (I say few, but there are quite a lot! *shh*)

8. Did you discover anything awesome because of Netflix ?
Homeland was a series I found only due to Netflix. Although, I have watched every single one on there, so there's none left to watch. To be honest, I'm just super happy Suits is back so Homeland is not missed!

Is there any show you cannot recommend enough on Netflix? Would love suggestions!
& I Tag YOU to do it too!
