Top 6 Spring/Summer Dresses - Under $10 | FASHION

Hello!

"great for the various events throughout the season"
Dresses were made for Spring and Summer (well, I guess you could pull it off during the autumn and winter too, but ideally, it's Spring and Summer) and who would believe you could get some super pretty ones for less than $10! Whether you're a student watching your budget, or just don't want to splurge on the dress where the trend may not last until next summer - heck, if you just simply like the dresses, regardless of the price tag, read on.

Isn't it stunning?! I love stripes and the yellow border just makes this dress that extra special. You know they say yellow is the happiest colour? Well, doesn't this dress make you happy!
Buy here.

I saw this dress and instantly thought of laying by the pool or beach, chilling under the sun. Having said that, the piece could also be dressed up with some heels and a cute clutch. Either way, a versatile piece that could be a gem in any collection.

So it looks like two different pieces, but really it's just one. The thing that caught my eye with this one, is that it's unique. Oh, and it's super cute!

Totally a casual dress - my favourites! This one that's probably harder to dress up - but perfect for a picnic-in-the-park kind of day.

Did I mention I have a thing for stripes?

Denim is practically always a trend for Spring/Summer, and a denim dress is totally a nice way to incorporate it. Another one for the picnic-in-the-park kind of day!

So 6 dresses under $10, and all great for the various events throughout the season.
Tell me, what do you think of stripes? Fan or not-so-much?

PS. I believe they ship worldwide ;)

Spring 2015 Nail Picks | BEAUTY

Hello!

"the colours I picked haven't 'gone-all-out', but there's a nice range that I think truly represents me"

It feels like forever since we've bought out the pastels, and now the time has come. The first day of Spring has sprung (ha!) so you can feel free to whip out those shades you put away about 6 months ago. Having said that, it is totally fine to wear whatever shade you want to in the autumn and winter - so if you were rocking pastels in the mist of November, GO YOU! :)

"the grey may still dominate"

Although it's Spring, the weather hasn't been wanting to change too much in London. Well, it did for about 3 days, and then went back to grey clouds. Maybe it's the weather that doesn't let the little nail-colour freak inside of me not want to pick out all the pastel shades, or maybe I'm just saving them for the summer. Either way, the colours I picked haven't 'gone-all-out', but there's a nice range that I think truly represents me.

From Left to Right:
Barry M Watermelon
Barry M Kiwi
Barry M Limited Edition 030
Barry M Cappuccino
Barry M Aqua Glitter
Ciaté Pocket Money

"choosing the colours that make you feel comfortable"

As you can tell, there's a lot of Barry M going on here! With great formulas, an ever-growing shade range and their incredible price - where can one go wrong?

In the end, it's all about choosing the colours that make you feel comfortable. To me, these are the ones. I'll leave them lined up on the shelf near my nail polish box, so I can just pick and go! Having still being obsessed with grey's, I have a feeling it may be the most used this season, but I shall keep you updated!

"It feels like forever since we've bought out the pastels, and now the time has come."

As most of the colours on the runways for SS15 were bare/nude nails, it'd be wrong not to include Ciaté Pocket Money. Nonetheless, the grey may still dominate for me. It's not ALL about the trends now, is it?! :D

Tell me, what shade do you think will be on your nails a lot this Spring?

Nail of the Day: Lilac Sparkles!

Hello!

I feel like it's been ages since I have done a nail of the day post, actually the only other one I had done was this one and you guys seemed to like it. Anyway, normally I don't tend to paint my nails much during the school year - basically have a pale pink or clear on if anything - that's because in my previous school nail polish was not allowed. Some of you may be like: "WHAT, you're not allowed to paint your nails?? Did you go to a prison school?", well, to answer that, no - I didn't go to a prison school, actually I don't think I've ever seen a prison in real life.. hmm...

Okay, ANYWAY, that was way OTT! But anyway, you actually may be thinking: "Yeah, I'm not allowed nail polish, either", so maybe it's not that weird! ANYWAY, again, back to the paint - I mean point.
What I was trying to get at was that most of the time I actually get to paint my nails was in the holidays, now that I can paint them all the time I might be able to get a little more creative juices flowing!

So, right now it is September - DUH - and it's seen as Fall season, however, fall isn't actually until AFTER the 20th of September and right now it's hot in England, I think it's the hottest September since 7 years! Woah! So, I decided to make the most of this weather and use the final summer colour of the year - my pick: a Lavender. If you look back to my summer nail picks/trends post you will see that Lilac was one of my personal picks, hence the reason I chose it.

To give a little extra kick and interest, I made my index fingers and ring fingers accent nails with a silver glitter top coat (Barry M).

So, yes, that's it! That's my NOTD
Hope You Enjoyed!
