Scent your Room with Wax Warmers + GIVEAWAY | LIFE

Hello!

"The scent that fills the room is just so lovely"

Although it's summer time, I still like to light a candle or two. In fact, you may have seen the pomegranate candle I was loving last week in this post here. The scent that fills the room is just so lovely and the warmth from the flame is very nice! Then I came across the wax warmer. It's the same idea but has a light bulb instead of a flame, which is good for the safety side of things too.

Beyoncé Heat Rush : FRAGRANCE

Hello!

"it's understandable that I've only got about 1/2-1/3 of it left, right?"

Just as I leave the house, I spitz on some perfume. Recently it has been the same perfume I go for when I don't really have much time and it's all 'go-go-go!' chaos. The perfume I received as a gift last Christmas (2013) and now realise how much of it I've actually used. A 100ml bottle of Beyoncé Heat Rush is that perfume.

"The scent is very warm and reminds me of being by a toasty fire"

Nevertheless, the perfume is an Eau de Toilette, so being it not as strong as an Eau de Parfum, I guess it's okay to spritz twice more as you usually would, meaning it's understandable that I've only got about 1/2-1/3 of it left, right? Right???!

"They say Queen Beyoncé can do no wrong"

Fine, I guess that doesn't really justify anything, but the real reason is: the fragrance. It's such a forgiving scent. Something that reminds me of the autumn/winter season, whereas Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight is probably my summer go-to. The scent is very warm and reminds me of being by a toasty fire - definitely agree with the 'Heat' name it has been given.

"it has been the same perfume I go for when I don't really have much time and it's all 'go-go-go!' "

They say Queen Beyoncé can do no wrong - a great line of fragrances, a nice bottle and a scent like this, I guess this is yet another area she has excelled in! Would I say it's my favourite scent of all time? No. However, it is still a go-to fragrance.

A final touch of the whole package - the bottle is pretty affordable too. Retailing at £35 for a 100ml EDT, yet you can get it for good £12.61 on Amazon (LINK) so it won't break the bank!

Tell me, what's your go-to fragrance?

BerryWeekly: Flowers, Room Scents & Vita Coco

Hello!
"prepare to get some tips to spice up your room for Summer"
Another Friday has approached us! OMG I feel like every Friday I start with the same intro, either that or 'TGIF'. Gosh, it's getting old! Anyway, that may be getting old but lets see what's new and loving this week! Also, prepare to get some tips to spice up your room for Summer, too! :)

"you would have NEVER in a billion years thought of it"
The flowers in the garden have been blooming and that's when the most creative idea ever hit me: Cut up a few flowers and leaves and stick them in a vase for the room! Yes, I know - you would have NEVER in a billion years thought of it!

Why not make the most out of what we have - so if you have flowers in your garden or if anyone allows you to take their flowers, definitely do this - it's super easy and looks amazing! Plus, it's always lovely to wake up to these beauties in the morning!

"you would understand my excitement when a whole box of it landed on my doorstep"
You may be as hyped about coconuts as I am - as shown in this postthis post and this post - and if you are, you would understand my excitement when a whole box of it landed on my doorstep on Monday! I ordered it from Amazon, by the way.

"Definitely recommend it"
Finally, another thing thats great for your room is this fragrance diffuser. It is a plug-in and has 3 scents which change every 45 minutes. This makes it so you can smell the fragrance every time it changes and realise it is there. I have the trio in 'Thai Orchid' and this is the 3volution fragrance diffuser by Ambi Pur. Definitely recommend it and it lasts forever!

I hope you had a fantastic week and tell me: What's your favourite type of Flowers?

Top Perfumes of 2014

Hello!

Now, if you're like me then you cannot leave the house (or your room) without a little spritz of scent to leave a waft of nice-smelling goodness around you! Whether it be a spicy, sweet, floral or fruity scent - it makes you feel good just spraying it. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration but it's pleasant when you smell nice!

Well, the point of that was leading on to this: The Top Perfumes of the Moment (in no particular order..)

1. Flowerbomb - Viktor Rolf

I have yet to smell this but I have been eyeing it for a long time! The packing is gorgeous too, and everything seems so glam! Said to be 'a thousand flowers in a bottle'!

2. Lady Million - Paco Rabanne

The fragrance has been famous for a while now and doesn't look like it's getting any less popular. When I was in the lines for the sale shopping I had done, people around me had like 3-4 of these in their baskets and this was AFTER christmas gift exchange-time! Therefore, another one to keep an eye out for! This is said to be a woody floral with fruity undertones.

3. Our Moment - One Direction

To be honest, I'm not a HUGE fan of celebrity fragrances, I mean I won't go out and buy a Lady Gaga perfume because I like Lady Gaga - I would if I liked the scent! This one seems to be really popular right now, though! This is said to be a floral scent with a warm musky undertone.

4. Boss Orange - Hugo Boss

'Crispy Apple, white florals and woody, sandalwood heart' is what this scent is described as. Personally, the thought of having an orange smelling perfume makes me feel sick. I don't like that. You know the scent you have on your hands after peeling a tangerine? Well, I like that but wouldn't want it in a perfume bottle! So, this one is a bit of a weird one for me!

5. Daisy - Marc Jacobs

Ahh, this one is a well heard of one that 'never gets old'. Daisy is said to be 'floral with a vintage edge of violet' and said to be 'elegant and enchanting'. Well, there's two things that makes this sound appealing: the description and the packing. How pretty?!

6. Killer Queen - Katy Perry

Another celebrity fragrance. This one has very interesting packaging - the colour reminds me a bit of 'Heat' by Beyoncé! 'Sexy. Royal. Radiant.' This definitely seems like more of a night fragrance with Dark Plum as one of its' top notes.

7. Viva La Juicy - Juicy Couture

You might as well be living under a rock if you haven't heard of this one before! The girly and super cute packaging is so nice as well as the fragrance being something to fall for! The scent being 'Wild Berries, Creamy Vanilla and Bright Jasmine' - its a super fun one to go with. I had a sample of this and it is completely used up (unlike my BVLgari one which is still more than half full)!

Well, thats the top fragrances of the moment, great ideas for gifts to anyone… or yourself!
Do you own/love any featured in this list?
Oh, and HINT HINT: one of these fragrance is likely to be the star of another post coming soon - stay tuned!

Candle Crazy!

Hello!

I don't know if you feel the same, but candles are a slight obsession for me - I have one in practically every room and everyone that really knows me knows that they make me happy!

Being in England I haven't found the perfect place to buy candles. I mean in the US, I know there is a store called 'Bath and Body Works' which I WISH was available here!
They sell what seem like the best candles ever! Call me weird but I went onto the site and picked a few of the ones I would probably buy if I could:

Leaves is probably the most heard about candle from Bath and Body Works, especially for this time of year! People stock up for the entire year because they love this candle! Does it really smell that nice?! Let's just fly to America and smell it! This is number one on my Bath and Body Works list (okay, you caught me, I just made that list right now!)...
I love the smell of cinnamon now - I used to hate it but nowI love it! I actually have a cinnamon and mulled wine candle (shown here) which is ALMOST finished :(
First of all, can I just say, doesn't this look just GORGEOUS! It looks so girly and totally my style! I love the smell of vanilla too - who doesn't?! - and the rose image just tops it off - this would be #2 on my B&BW list!
This one looks pretty and like it would smell nice! You know there is no description on the website so your guess on how the candles smell are as good as mine!
Lastly, this is a candle holder! Isn't it just the cutest thing ever!! So festive and it would look lovely! Oh, and watch out for more festive posts coming out next week on Wednesday!

Okay, enough with my weirdness with candle obsession!
Images and products from here. At the moment you can save 45% by buying 2 of these candles!

Are you lucky enough to live near a B&BW?!
Or if you live in England, where do you suggest a good candle place is?

Weekly Roundup #6

Hello!

I feel like I haven't done a weekly roundup in a while, however, I do them quite often... Well, since the blog has started I''ve done 5! Check them out here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Anyway, so here's my roundup for this week!

Well, it was the kind of week where I wasn't feeling the best in terms of enthusiasm and motivation, but this quote reached out a little to me:

Also check out my Motivational Monday post for more quotes to keep you going!

Speaking of quotes, and words in that matter, I finished a book! I loved it! A post on that will be coming out soon - watch this space. It's called Remember Me?, by Sophie Kinsella. I don't want to go into much detail about it as I'll have an entire post on it VERY soon! But, if you're looking for a new book to read: grab this one!

Finally I wanted to wind myself down this past week and lit a few candles. Candles always seem to make me feel relaxed and somewhat content! They make the room smell amazing and look somewhat romantic. Not that my life is romantic at all, but oh well.

So, yes, these are a few favourites from the week. Hopefully next week I'll have more favourites!
