BerryWeekly: Boba, Babies and Buses

Hello!

It's that time again - a wonderful Friday to reflect on the pictures of the week!

This week I had popped down to London twice - both very fun days and the weather has been amazing the entire week, making the experience even more fun!

Coconut Drinks are the Best!
These two drinks were drank on different days - for the record! The one on the left is a smoothie - it has a bunch of great ingredients like Guava, Lychee, Pineapple and my favourite: coconut! It is a superfood smoothie and tastes so amazing!

Speaking of Coconut, we went to China Town on one of the days we were in London and I got the coconut milk tea (with boba, of course) and it tasted AMAZING!! Definitely recommend that one. Plus, it was cold and great for a hot, summer day!

Also on the day we had boba tea/bubble tea (whatever you want to call it), we had lunch at EAT. If you haven't heard of EAT. it is basically a chain of healthier foods and it has great choices! It was out of this or Pret, but Pret was super busy as usual, so we went with EAT. I had a falafel and hummus wrap and I totally recommend it.

On another day we popped down to London, we saw a '1' bus! If you live in London or know about buses, this is quite cool - like the buses I know of are mostly 3 digits or sometimes 2, but I've never seen the 1 bus!

Finally, after college one day, I went to go visit my nephew! He is super cute and just begun walking - we gave him ice-cream for the first time ever and he loved it. Obviously, we didn't give him too much as he was hyper enough already! haha! I just love how he knew to look directly at the camera!

So, tell me, do you call it boba tea or bubble tea, and whats your favourite flavour?

BerryWeekly: Picking Strawberries, Google Street Car & Pancakes!

Hello!

June, July and August - the months of the year the Pick Your Own Farms are busiest. August is the month of Sweetcorn, July the month of Raspberries and Strawberries are the fruits of June.
Last weekend, my family and I went to a 'Pick Your Own' farm. We go every year and this year was just as fun!

Overdramatic photo? It's an edit from the one below - how cool?!

Less Dramatic Photo
PS. Manicure Shade HERE
While going into the grocery store I passed this robotic thing. That's right, there's like a load of cameras on that blue ball attached to the car. Definitely a sight you don't see everyday. So, I had to take a picture and it looked sooooo cool!! I never thought they looked liked that! Well, now we know!

As we finished exams (which you've probably heard too many times now), a celebration was due! We went to a local pancake spot and ordered food for a late Sunday lunch. More specifically, I ordered Pancake (more like a crepe) with bananas, toasted nuts, ice-cream and the oh-so-heavenly chocolate sauce. It was so yum!

Oh, and for a drink I got a Smoothie with Mango, Passionfruit and something else which I forgot... maybe pineapple?

Finally, I tidied away the years worth of work and this is the completed exam timetable - all exams crossed off. Oh, what a great feeling!

Did you know there was a 'Google Street Maps' CAR?!

BerryWeekly: In the city of London

Hello!

Another Friday, another Week pretty much over! It's a good and bad feeling, that - well, on one hand we have two days to just… chill, but on the other hand, time is flying by too quickly. To be honest, do you find that the months of Jan-April just SLIP out of your hands and you just don't know where that time went? I find that during Sept-Dec, the time goes a lot slower, or I just tend to remember more of it?!
Anyway, that doesn't mean to say you and I can't make the best of every month and every week of the year!

This week, I took a trip down to London and being in the beautiful city, a blogger simply cannot forget to take pictures… and share it with you… duh! :D

Walking down the streets of Westminster, you could see the London Eye peeking out from the building! It looked so lovely! We took a little break from the exhibition we went to to grab something to eat - we hadn't realised it had been 8-9 hours since last eaten and suddenly realised we were hungry! As we were walking down the streets, the sun shining and clear blue skies, the London Eye was a nice sight - hence worth having 4 copies of the same image - haha!

I have never been this close to Big Ben. Literally being at the foot of the famous building was astonishing - the weather making it look even better! It is such a lovely atmosphere in the area - clean, intricate and the Big Ben is very practical, especially when your watch has ran out of battery and the iPhone battery doesn't last long!

One truly cannot get over the admiring architecture in London! Not to mention, the love that London seems to have with it's clocks - see, us Londoners really value time, don't we?! :P

Erm.. another pretty building! :) I love the pretty buildings of the city and the atmosphere is just sophistication with party - kind of like 'Work Hard, Play Hard' - I'm definitely a city girl! ;)
On another note, I got a new laptop cover! Yay! I'm using my laptop now and love the fact that the cover is new - it feels like a whole new laptop (with a much lower price tag!) and this time I ordered a keyboard cover too - it is still black and feels a little weird but I am almost used to it! Plus the cover matches my wallpaper!

What do you think of London, and are you more of a city/country person?

PS. Notice the new title? Do you like 'BerryWeekly' or 'Weekly Roundup'? :D

Weekly Roundup #10

Hello!

It's Friday again! What a relief! I feel like this week has really dragged out, yet can you believe it's the first Friday of February?! We're already in the second month of 2014!! Just stating the obvious here…

Anyway, so seeing as I had not done a single Weekly Roundup last month, I feel this is necessary. I miss showing you little bits of the week as every week should be cherished - you will never get another exactly like it!

Things I watched:

'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green has been such a talked about book and soon-to-be-released film. I have yet to read the book yet you may have done so. The reviews of the book are all amazing and just watching the trailer has made me super excited about it! I like the storyline shown in the trailer - that everyone finds their happiness, and everyone deserves to be happy!

Next Movie to see:

This week I have heard so much about the movie Frozen. It is said to be a great feel-good Disney movie with great songs! haha! Maybe it's time to go back and watch a Disney film, why not?

Favourite Laugh:
source: 1, 2, 3, 4
I follow Barbara Palvin on Twitter - as I was scrolling through my News Feed these popped up. If you're on twitter then you might have realised the new(ish) layout whereby the images show up even if you don't click them. Well, when Barbara posted these, they caught my eye and I actually LOL-ed. It was a bit embarrassing as people around me must have thought I was crazy, but I just thought it was so funny! Barbara simply stunning, and she has a great sense of humour - what more could you ask for?! :O
Being it Valentines Day next week, I thought this was appropriate to share! haha! My favourite is the Kanye one as I love that song and remember when I went to Disney Land, Timone and Pumba sang it! It was a good time!

Okay, for some reason there is a lot of Disney in this week's post - which I find a little bit weird!
Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

What's your memorable laugh this week?

Weekly Roundup #9

Hello!

Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week and can now relax - either watching chick flicks with the girls, chilling at home or a night out…
It feels like forever and a day since a Weekly Roundup has been writing… what does that mean? It's time for another Weekly Roundup!

Favourite Shoes:
I tweeted a picture of these slippers when I put them out, right out of the box! I came downstairs on a cold, winter morning and my kitchen floor was freezing, like it might have snowed in my kitchen… so, I used this perfect timing to get out my PINK slippers!! I love these… and I swear other people in my house have been sneaking them on because they're never in the place I last left them!

Favourite Picture:
I took this picture and I can't say that I don't like that the sun comes up later during the day and goes down earlier in the night… so, maybe I am a vampire?

Favourite Food Find:
I went to a Turkish Restaurant the other day for a friends birthday. It was my first time in a turkish restaurant and the first thing I saw was a HUGE meat kebab thing… you know what I mean, right? Like the thing that looks like a HUGE chicken leg that has many tiny nibbles eaten from it… anyway, so my first worry was: I'm a vegetarian, what do I eat?! So, as anyone, I went for a Lentil Soup as the bread they served as 'starters' was amazing, naturally I wanted an excuse to eat more!!

Oh, and I can't believe this is my NINTH Weekly Roundup! It seems like the other day I did my first!
Anyway:

What's been your favourite of the week?

Weekly Roundup #8

Hello!
I hope you've had a great week and can now relax in the weekend, unless you're attending a late Halloween Party, which you may want some ideas for here.
Anyway, this week revolved a LOT around Halloween, so here's my roundup:

For the first time ever this year, I carved a pumpkin! I was determined to do one this year and I've got to say, I''m quite proud:

Also on the theme of Halloween, they're selling Halloween themes Orange boxes, I bought one, opened it and found STICKERS! Yes, I was as excited as a 6 year old, but IDC! Anyway, so I decorated some oranges and didn't end up eating theme - I mean, when there's chocolate involved, the fruits go out the window!

Finally I changed around my office and now this is the gorgeous view from my desk, which is where I'm writing this from now! It's muchhhhh better than the wall I was previously facing!

Oh and behind me is the canvas I hung up myself, and shown in this post.

Well, that's my roundup, so tell me: What did you do for Halloween?

Weekly Roundup #7

Hello!
Another Friday, another week coming to an end. Is it just me or do you feel that in winter the time seems to speed by, and generally you don't get much done... and you're tired all the time. Okay maybe the last one is just me. ANYWAY, these are some snaps I took recently that roundup... my week!

Favourite Quote:
HOW CUTE is the Elephanté! Elephants are cute in general! Oh, did you know, an elephant has 5 toes, but not all the toes have nails! Fun little fact for you, there.
Check out Motivational Monday for more quotes!

Favourite Proud-Moment:
Yes, that's right - I hung that baby up all by myself. My desk is a mess, but that's what happens after some hard work - I did clear it up soon after! Okay, I didn't paint it or anything so I guess I shouldn't be as proud as I am about it, but I actually hung it up - and it's centred in the wall and I used a screw. Gosh I deserve a medal ;)

Fashion Finds:

Finally, I did a LOT of shopping recently and found that I needed to order another set of hangers in order to fit these in my closet - which there is still a lot of room for more! I don't have that many items of clothing but do mix and match everything so I can get LOADS of different outfits from different combinations of clothes!
For this seasons trendy outfit ideas click here
Anyway, that's it!
What is your proudest moment from this week?

Weekly Roundup #6

Hello!

I feel like I haven't done a weekly roundup in a while, however, I do them quite often... Well, since the blog has started I''ve done 5! Check them out here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Anyway, so here's my roundup for this week!

Well, it was the kind of week where I wasn't feeling the best in terms of enthusiasm and motivation, but this quote reached out a little to me:

Also check out my Motivational Monday post for more quotes to keep you going!

Speaking of quotes, and words in that matter, I finished a book! I loved it! A post on that will be coming out soon - watch this space. It's called Remember Me?, by Sophie Kinsella. I don't want to go into much detail about it as I'll have an entire post on it VERY soon! But, if you're looking for a new book to read: grab this one!

Finally I wanted to wind myself down this past week and lit a few candles. Candles always seem to make me feel relaxed and somewhat content! They make the room smell amazing and look somewhat romantic. Not that my life is romantic at all, but oh well.

So, yes, these are a few favourites from the week. Hopefully next week I'll have more favourites!
What was your favourite thing about the week?

Weekly Roundup #5

Hello!

What a crazy week it's been. Is it just me or do you also get the feeling that on one hand this week has raced by but when you think about it, it's actually gone reeeaaaalll slow? Hmm, I don't know!

Anyway this week was the last of my summer so most of it was just spent relaxing. To be honest, having a holiday longer than 2 months with nothing to do is a drag. I prefer being busy. Okay, at first it felt like heaven: NOTHING to do is perfection, but then after about 3 weeks it really did just get too much! I guess it's right when they say that what's perceived is always greater than reality. We should just keep dreaming, then, hey? :D

Anyway so the first of my favourites was finishing reading my book. Favourite Past-time: Reading
Being it the holidays, and having nothing to do, you would expect there to be MORE time to read, right? Wrong. I found that by the time I went to bed I would be knackered and wouldn't have the energy to read! I usually read in my bed before going to sleep - but in order to finish this book, I took advantage of the beautiful weather in London and lay out in my garden with the book. Be sure to check out a BerryReads post on this soon! :D

Food Favourite: Tea
Well, this isn't really a food, more of a beverage, but on the way back from the beach on the day before Bank Holiday Monday I wanted to get a nice hot beverage. Earlier I had a vanilla coffee latte so I didn't want another coffee, also it was closer to bedtime so... yes. Saying that, it doesn't mean this tea was caffeine free, I think it was but I am not too sure. Anyway, this is a favourite this week because I love holding these cups when walking around, the tea itself? Meh, it was ok. haha! It wasn't my favourites but it wasn't terrible. To be honest, I couldn't taste a lot of it because I burnt my gum because I took a big sip of the boiling hot water, silly me!

Favourite thing to look at: My Flowers!
Well, I think I told you but I have flowers on my bathroom windowsill that I like to keep to brighten up the room (and add a little pink!) and for a while they didn't have the best blooms.  Oh, and you can probably tell I like blooms - BerryBLOOMxo, HELLO! haha! So, when they weren't blooming, I was wandering why. Maybe because I wasn't watering them enough. I decided to sod the 'you're going to overwater and kill it' thought in my mind and give the plant lots of water every so often. I used to be very strict and only water it like 2 times a week but now I just water it whenever I feel like it (sometimes 3 days straight) and it seems to be doing great. Even if it's got some water in the soil already, I like to give it more, and now they look lovely!

I guess this relates to life: water/ fill life with what it needs very often and you will bloom! Which relates to health as well, feed your body with the nutrition it needs and your health will be great! I should be listening to my own advice right now too!

Anyway I hope you had a great week and rock out, or relax, during the weekend!
What are your plans? Maybe buy some flowers to brighten up your room?

Weekly Roundup #4

Hello!

How was this week for you? For me, it was filled with a lot of things... it was a very long week to be honest! On thursday it was the day to collect my results, very stressful - actually, it was a mixture of feelings. I was nervous yet eager to find out what I got. Congratulations to all that got your results in the last two weeks! I'm sure you did well :)

Earlier this week I went to Summer In The City! It was so much fun and I met so many amazing YouTubers! If you don't know what SITC is, it's basically a UK version of VidCon, based in London. I met so many people including one of my role models: Tanya Burr.

I also met Bertie Gilbert, Oli White, Joe Sugg, Louise (Sprinkleofglitter), Joey Graceffa, Sorted Food (mentioned here) and Chris Kendall. I didn't get to say anything to Joey Graceffa as he was in a rush but talked to the others mentioned above. I was so happy and over the moon - especially to see Tanya who I told about this blog and she said she'll try and check it out! I mean she's a busy woman, so I doubt she'll check it out but it's nice of her to say. She's absolutely gorgeous in real life too, and it's crazy to think that we watch her on our computers yet they're real people!

Also, MTV interviewed us and we might be on the show! OMG! Crazy, right? :D

Later on in the week I went to a rose garden and saw these beautiful roses and a dreamy water fountain! It looked lovely and of course I had to take pictures! They turned out wonderful!

As well as that, I got to take one home and decorated with fresh lavender from my neighbours front garden (shh... don't tell them!), it smelt gorgeous and I placed it on my desk to brighten it up a little! I recommend you do this before the end of summer and the flowers are no longer there!

Well, yes, that was some of my week, well it was mostly about Summer in the City yet I thought I'd update you anyway! Don't forget to check out Weekly Roundups #1, #2 and #3 from the last few weeks!

Did you attend Summer In The City? or VidCon?
